This is a self-initiated project, which all started with the particular taste of a herballiquor and the will to spread it. Since 2014 I designed, curated, produced and researched everything from milane-se glass producers, portuguese cork manufacturers, custom-made bottle opener,labels, drinks, playlists, website, events, logistics, bottle-filling systems and muchmore with the help of good friends.
Flascherl is a quality gin made near Munich. The unique hardly classifiable taste and ambercoloring lays the foundation of a mystical appearance. The label was designed to remind us of the 19th century, when the infamous Absinthe wasborn. The legend of its healing effects as well as the hallucinatory virtue was a controversialtopic.Building the bridge between the past and today a custom font was designed with the neatnessof a Helvetica and the playfulness of a Boeklin Universe. The Flascherl Back Font is as wellinspired by the Jugendstil era and their fonts. A viennese bistro font translated into modern times.
